This seventh annual event aims to promote military relations between the participating countries. The exercise sponsored by U.S. Southern Command, tests teams on their capabilities in handling firearms, physical fitness, aquatic skills, and tactical capabilities.
During the weeklong event long, face competitors in events such as sniper, ambush, range estimation and target of opportunity, a physical fitness test, critical tasks, "reserve" forces ", water, stress test, forced march, track obstacles, and combined assault. The exercise concludes with the awards ceremony and closing ceremony on June 24.
One of the first events of Forces Command assesses the marksmanship skills of the soldiers in a series of tests with a rifle, pistol and sniper skills which has last two days in the ranges of the Dominican National Army in the 1st Brigade in Santo Domingo.
For example, the event critical tasks, presents real life situations. During this event, the targets identified as "non combatants" are placed near the target of the shooter. The event aims to impact the shooter successfully without hitting their targets noncombatants
During this event, competitors race through more than two and a half miles of relentless sand and hot pavement, while the evidence of the way in the water demand of each team's ability to swim through long stretches of water with heavy equipment.
For much of the elite staff at Forces Command competing, this event is the more difficult, but many participants said that teamwork is the key to success.
